About us

Profile

The Eire Gulf partners & founders have operated in Ireland and internationally for over 20 years, delivering projects from green field development to refurbishment and fit-out in the commercial, Hotel, F&B, retail and educational sectors. We work closely with architects and ID specialists and also provide full turnkey solutions for our clients with design & build packages. The Group contains of a variety of skillsets, including specialists in MEP & architectural design services and this experience provides us with a significant advantage in delivering complex projects for our customers.

The founders have delivered projects in Ireland, UK, Australia, Caribbean and Middle East, valued at over $500M and bring a wealth of knowledge, particularly in delivering fast track turnkey fit-out projects.

In recent years, the Group focused on developing our international business in the Middle East, opening the first overseas office in Dubai in 2009. This has been a significant success, developing lasting relationships with blue chip clients. Our particular skills in design, procurement and project management, combined with an adaptable approach to problem solving, has proven to be the key to our success in delivering projects for our Clients.

Due to the increase in enquiries from our customers with bases in the UK and Ireland, we are keen to secure projects and increase our portfolio of clients. As a result, in 2017 we established offices in Dublin and London to serve our Clients from these locations.

Directors Profile

Thomas Mc Nicholas

Thomas Mc Nicholas is an experienced construction professional with 13 years of rich experience in all levels of site management and organisation. He has worked for some of Ireland’s largest interior fit out companies both as an employee and later as a self-employed subcontractor, primarily concentrating on office and retail refurbishments and interior fit out projects. Upon moving to Dubai in early 2009, he joined Eiregulf as Interiors Director to share his knowledge and proficiency in all aspects of site and client relationship management to develop Eiregulf into a leading Interior fit out company.

Patrick Dowling

Patrick graduated from University College Cork with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Micro-Electronic Engineering. He worked in the U.K. and Australia before returning to Ireland to work with Rotary M&E. Having worked on a wide range of projects in Ireland and the Caribbean, he took up a position with them in Dubai. After two years Patrick joined Mercury MENA, working on a number of data center projects. In 2013 he joined Eire Gulf, heading up the MEP division.

Key staff members

Padhraic Garvey

Padhraic has over 16 years’ experience within the Construction Industry with over 7 years of this within in the UAE. He takes responsibility of team leadership, estimation review, budgeting, cost control risk assessment, supervising the engineering implementing the specification, identifying design problems and resolving with concerned parties.

Padhraic has a proven track record in delivering prestige projects within the industry and managing the MEP
package within time and budget. He holds a good understanding of all operational and engineering issues related to MEP and ensures all local authority requirements are adhered to and implemented.

Padhraic has an excellent relationship with Project Management teams and Clients, he ensures all agreed timeframes are met, delivered and handed over to the end user.

Brian McNicholas

Experienced Quantity Surveyor who has worked on a range of projects varying in value up to (Approx. 4 Billion Euro).

Responsible for both pre-contract and post-contract duties. including but not limited to preparation of final project accounts. Evaluating budget costing, reviewing contract Tenders documents both technically and commercially. Client correspondence, contract negotiations, measurement and pricing of construction work, evaluating specifically the value of actual work completed by Eire Gulf agreeing valuations and settling final accounts.

Noriza Villafuerte

Graduated Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in Polytechnic University of the Philippines in 2007.

Acquired 9yrs of experience in Residential and Hospitality Interior Design locally and abroad.

She has gained 6yrs of experience in Corporate and Commercial Interior Design in UAE.

Conceptualize, Draws and Executes Designs creatively while adhering to principles of local municipalities, safety and environmental sustainability.

Pol Soriano

Graduated in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at University of Cagayan Valley, Philippines

Acquired 16 years’ experience in different areas of industry such as: Banking, Contracting, Trading and Advertising.

Independently handling accounting task up to finalization. Enthusiasm with strong analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making.

Maria Gloria C. Guballa

Having more than 6 years of working experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator all throughout the Middle East. Areas of expertise include: Fit-out works Knowledge on UAE Market price, Quantity Take off & Estimating, Exceptional Client Interface Capabilities, Interim Payment Management, Contract Management & Cost Control, Subcontractor Variation Analysis, Knowledge in using Primavera P6, AutoCAD Operating, Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Knowledgeable in FIDIC and POM.

Alan Kingston

Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture with Honours in Cork Institute of Technology, Ireland.

Worked on arrays of projects from Restaurants to Domestic dwellings. Producing 3D rendering models and highly orthographical plans, sections and elevations on Auto CAD. Integrated well with the design practice and met all required deadlines.

Fasalu Rahman T.M.

A professional degree holder of Electrical Engineering with 5 years’ experience as MEP Engineer. Having a vast of experience in MEP Design, Estimation, Procurement, Site supervising, Testing and Commissioning field. Also, with hands on experience in Low Voltage Systems (Data, Telephone, CCTV, Access Control and Home Automation), High Voltage Systems (Transformer, Panel Boards , Cabling, Termination and Commissioning), Fire Alarm, HVAC , Fire Fighting , Plumbing and Drainage Layout designing and Installation for Commercial and Residential Buildings.

This will be achieved whilst maintaining  the most competitive budgets and strictest of client programs. Our experienced and highly trained team strive to guarantee that every end product is something to be proud of.

Eire Gulf projects are executed under a wide range of industry-standard documents. Each project is individual and the Quality Control Plan will be tailored, implemented and carried to completion, through interaction and agreement with the Client.

What we do & Where we do it

We have offices in Dubai and Ireland.

We undertake CAT A and CAT B projects along with high end specialist projects ranging in value from AED 100,000 to AED 8,000,000.

We are independently owned and run, a Main Board Director is allocated to oversee each project.

Annually Eire Gulf complete approximately 15 projects, with 4 sites operating at any one time.
